Shampoo Soap!

So my fabolous talented and smart sister Tabitha makes her own soaps etc. When she came down recently for my wedding, she mentioned she has the soap she uses for her shampoo (and hir girls) and for the conditioner she uses an vinegar/water blend.

I'm an hippy at heart, but dont really act on it much in real life, basically because I am too lazy to go make my own natural products etc. Luckily my sister isn't so.

So today an exciting package arrived, with an christmas star for my tree (yay I like the corny hand written messages that you keep for years to come), and an couple bars of soap. This isn't any ordinary soap, is rosemary tea soap containing olive oil, coconut oil, sustainable palm oil and rosemary tea.

On first inspection it doesn't have an strong smell to it (which i approve of greatly!) but it is definitley soft to touch.

So I had my first try of it excitedly tonight, basically you use the soap on your scalp and massage it in. On rinsing it runs through the rest of your hair, then you poor the vinegar water (cool water) over your hair - but not your scalp to avoid making it oily. Rinse it off with luke warm water and bam shower done.

My first observations, well i didn't have to run to the hand cream (I've been lucky to find an nice natural one with my pole dancing that doesn't leave an sticky oily film over my hands and keeps them moisturized for hours, but one touch of normal soap, detergent or shampoo and they are dry again), i also noticed that my skin is nice and soft on my back where the soap ran onto.

I'm super excited to see what its like when it dries and how it goes after an night sleep !

2nd day and hair is nice and light, I was able to wear it out at work and it didn't go boofy (flyways are still bad obviously cos conditioner isn't keeping them down, I could always use an spray for that though). Head hasn't been itchy for two days now!!! Bought some apple vinegar from the shop yesterday so will give that an go today. It's positive so far and I really really hope it stays that way cos its actually simple to use !
